I’ve been on this planet since 1996, which is approaching 30 Earth years, and have for the most part enjoyed my experience. This “getting a job” and “paying the bills” business, however, I could do without.
When I was a kid, someone thought it would be a good idea to give me a notebook and teach me how to spell and make up stories (thanks, Mom!). I haven’t ever really…stopped since then. I’ve dabbled in novels, short stories, and poetry (even got some recognition for that one) over the years, but novels are my favorite.
I have several other hobbies besides writing outlandish stories – some of them even pay the bills (design and photography, to be specific). But at the risk of offending my freelance clients, I’d have to say that writing is definitely my favorite.
My most first novel, Bridges of Smoke, is the first in a 4-part new adult apocalyptic sci-fi series that examines themes of neurodivergence and what really makes a family. And I’m pleased to announce the second installment is coming soon!
I hope you enjoy the story.
